Re-opening Beauvais's Cathedral

/ Re-opening Beauvais's Cathedral

With the ambition to continue to work on abandoned and unfinished built patrimony of Europe, the studio will focus this semester on the mighty Gothic cathedral of Beauvais, North of Paris. The students will have to question the uncomfortable paralysed state in which the church lies today, strongly underused. Considering the Gothic cathedral as a place where knowledge, culture, science, technique, trade were once the driving force, we will question the nostalgic static state in which the church lies today and try to Re-orientate it back towards its future...
